Use of this site

By using lemanconstruction.com (“the site”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Leman Construction Inc. reserves the right to update these terms; substantive changes are noted on the "Last updated" line above, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

No professional advice

Content on this site, including the cost guide and journal articles, is general information about the Toronto construction market and the Leman process. It is not architectural, engineering, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not an estimate or a quote for any specific project. Project specific numbers come from a consultation and a signed agreement.

Intellectual property

All site content (text, images, code, design) is owned by Leman Construction Inc. or its content partners and is protected under Canadian copyright law. Project photography is credited to the photographer where applicable; the photographer retains copyright on those images. Quoted client testimonials are used with the client's signed release on file.

The Leman name, wordmark, and logo are trade names and marks of the firm. Nothing in these terms grants you any licence to use them.

You may save, print, and share pages of this site for personal non-commercial use. You may not republish, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

The cost guide and journal articles

The Toronto Renovation Cost Guide and the journal articles on this site are produced for general information only. The ranges, timelines, and process descriptions reflect typical Leman projects and are not a quote for your specific project. A consultation produces project-specific numbers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, not to interfere with or disrupt the site or the systems that serve it, not to attempt to access non-public areas of the site or its infrastructure, not to harvest content or data from the site by automated means for republication or bulk extraction, and not to misrepresent your identity in any form submission.

Form submissions

By submitting any form on this site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to share it. Form submissions are handled per our privacy policy. Submitting a form is not a contract. A formal contract is produced and signed at the design and pricing stage of the Leman process.

No warranty on site content

The site is provided "as is." While we work to keep content accurate and current, Leman Construction Inc. does not warrant that the site will be available without interruption, that content is free of errors, or that any reliance you place on site content will produce a particular result.

This limitation applies to site content only. The construction warranty Leman provides on completed work is governed by the project contract, not this page.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leman Construction Inc., its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any content downloaded from it. If Leman Construction Inc. is nonetheless found liable in connection with your use of the site, its total aggregate liability is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars. These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, and nothing on this page limits the rights a client holds under a signed construction contract.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leman Construction Inc., its directors, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.

Copyright concerns

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, write to info@lemanconstruction.com with the details of the work and the location of the content. We investigate and respond promptly.

Suspension of access

We may suspend, restrict, or discontinue the site, or any feature of it, at any time and without notice, including where we consider it necessary to protect the site or its users.

External links

The site links to third-party websites (architects' studios, suppliers' product pages, press articles, our Google Business Profile). Leman Construction Inc. does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of those sites.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any disputes arising from these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure by Leman Construction Inc. to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and Leman Construction Inc. regarding use of the site; they do not modify any signed agreement between you and the firm. Leman Construction Inc. may assign these terms in connection with a reorganization or sale of the business.
